The Red Cross Ambulance Incident

August 28, 2006

First there was the green helmet guy. Now, there’s The Red Cross Ambulance Incident.

This isn’t about the size of a cloud of smoke. There are serious problems with how news is being reported by mainstream global news organiations. And in the case of Israel, it’s having more severe repurcussions than who wins an election: it may affect the national security of an entire nation- Israel. Make that two: let’s include Lebannon.

Rathergate opened my eyes to the systemic problems inherent in the MSN. The complexities and stresses of war have only brought out it’s shortcomings even more.

You can bet the reporting in Iraq is not much better.
