Where’s the Mass Protest in Pakistan?

December 4, 2008

In response to last week’s jihadist atrocities in Mumbai, India, Thomas Friedman, of all people, writes this seriously incisive article in the NY Times.  Friedman asks questions that many of us more rightward folks have been wondering for a while, so kudos to him.

Gees I wonder how many Hindus or Jews or Americans for that matter took to the streets to protest their governments killing of Muslims? And who is killing more civilians and destroying lives, the Islamist radicals or the US, India and Israeli governements?

Kudos? I don’t think so. Bias and double standardism and self righteousness. Disgusting hypocrysy.

Koranist, besides the many factual errors in your comment, it’s very sad that you can’t see how your “circle the wagons” reaction exactly validates Friedman’s point.
